Pest Controller is a battery-operated ultrasonic mouse deterrent, designed to protect an indoor area of up to 2500 square feet (unobstructed). Ideal for protecting lofts, outbuildings and other "difficult to get mains power" areas.

Pest Controller permanently emits an ultrasonic signal (40-42kHz) every 8 seconds. This 'noise' makes mice uncomfortable and they stay away from the protected area. Pest Controller does not harm the rodents in any way.

The frequency of the Pest Controller is outside the hearing range of most household pets, and other wildlife, although it may be heard by some sensitive breeds of dog. In 'dog terms' the signal is very quiet and unlikely to have a deterrent effect or to cause any distress. If you are worried about this and intend to use the Pest Controller in an area with dogs, you might like to consider using an 'electro-magnetic device such as the MPR-10 Plug-in Mouse Deterrent
