Animal suitability
The Hotline Merlin is ideal for small to medium livestock containment, working particularly well for horses in small paddocks or for strip grazing. It is also suitable for sheep and goats on modest runs and can handle short sections of sheep netting under good conditions. This energiser is not recommended for large livestock, poultry netting, or long fences, making it best suited for hobby farms or smallholders with simple fencing needs.
