Hotline Harrier Battery-Powered Electric Fence Energiser
The Hotline Harrier is a highly portable, battery-powered electric fence energiser designed for everyday farm use, strip grazing, and small paddock fencing, particularly for horses and light livestock. With high and low power settings, it delivers reliable performance while allowing you to conserve battery life once animals are accustomed to the fence.
The Harrier is ideal for small paddocks or short enclosures, light livestock, strip grazing, rotational paddocks and temporary fencing setups where a compact, easy-to-move energiser is required. It is not suitable for net fencing, larger or heavier animals, or long/permanent fence lines, where a more powerful energiser would be necessary.
When introducing animals to a new electric fence, the energiser should be set to ‘High’ for the first seven days to establish fence respect. After this period, switching to ‘Low’ helps extend battery life without compromising effectiveness.
The Harrier operates from either a 6V internal battery (not included) or a 12V external battery (not included), offering excellent battery efficiency. It also features a rigid 4-prong stand, making it stable and easy to position wherever required.
