Lamb Stock Fencing – Mild Steel Stock Fence 80 cm x 50 m (C8/80/22)
Mild steel sheep and lamb fencing
The C8/80/22 is a popular choice for sheep and lamb fencing, also known as 'lamb-safe' stock fencing. It is an alternative to the C8/80/15, featuring wider 22 cm vertical spacing (approximately 9 inches). This wider spacing helps reduce the risk of lambs getting their heads trapped in the fence.
Made from medium-grade mild steel, this stock fencing does not need to be strained as tightly as high-tensile fencing. This makes it particularly suitable for fields with multiple bends and changes in direction, as gradual turns can be made using intermediate posts.
The fencing is manufactured to BS EN 10223-5 and galvanised to BS EN 10244-2 Class A. It also features a hinge-joint construction and tension curve for added flexibility and strength. This product is approved for Ministry grants.
