The Hotline Raptor 80 Energiser is a highly versatile and robust unit designed to deliver maximum flexibility and reliable performance for a wide range of electric fencing systems. Offering three different power options, the Raptor 80 can operate from a 12V external battery, a 230V mains supply via the included adaptor, or an internal 6V spring-top battery, ensuring consistent operation in any situation. The internal 6V battery also serves as an automatic back-up when using mains power or when the 12V battery is low, providing valuable peace of mind during longer periods of use.

With 0.80 joules stored energy, 0.70 joules output, and the ability to power up to 8 km of fencing, this energiser delivers dependable performance across a wide range of applications. The innovative three-colour rotating LED performance monitor gives an instant visual indication of fence health with every pulse, while the central LED warns of low battery levels or when the energiser is running from back-up power.

Housed in a heavy-duty ABS case on a galvanised steel stand, the Raptor 80 is built to withstand tough outdoor conditions. Additional features such as the weatherproof switch, low battery indicator, and Solar assist capability make this energiser both user-friendly and extremely durable. Suitable for small poultry pens and portable strip grazing, as well as small-medium length fence lines.

Suitability

The Raptor 80 is a medium‑power, flexible electrifier well suited to small‑to‑medium livestock fencing e.g., sheep, goats, horses, pigs, and some cattle, on short to moderate fence lengths. Its ability to run from mains, battery, or internal battery backup, plus the fence‑monitor LED, makes it a practical choice for hobby farms, smallholdings, or seasonal fencing where reliable performance and flexibility are both helpful.
