The HT11/127/8 is a taller alternative to the HT10/107/8 horse fence, offering an overall height of 127 cm. Its closely spaced vertical wires, with 8 cm (approximately 3 inches) between them, help reduce the risk of horses and ponies getting their hooves caught in the fence.
Made from high-tensile steel, this fencing can be strained more tightly than mild steel and requires fewer intermediate posts. It is stronger and less prone to stretching, making it a durable and potentially more cost-effective option. With fewer posts required, installation can also be quicker.
The fence features a hinge-joint construction and a tension curve to help maintain its shape and strength. It is manufactured to BS EN 10223-5 and galvanised to BS EN 10244-2 Class A.
