An effective battery-powered energiser for smaller electric fencing systems. The P1 is suitable for cattle, horses and domestic animals, among others. It can also be powered directly from a 12 V rechargeable fence battery. The 12 V battery connection cables are included.

For permanent fencing, it is generally most economical to use standard galvanised fencing wire. Its electrical resistance (ohms per metre) is low and, due to the high voltage, has little effect even on long fences or several fences connected together. Make sure all wire connections are made carefully to ensure good conductivity.

We also recommend using high-voltage insulated fence cable, which is designed to handle voltages of up to 10,000 V, where the fence wire needs to pass underground, for example beneath roads or utility crossings, or when running the connection along buildings.
