Badger Fencing - High-Tensile Steel Netting 50 m (HT15/158/8)
This fence is a high-tensile steel netting designed for badger exclusion. It is installed with 30 cm buried underground and a further 25 cm turned outwards along the ground, creating an effective above-ground fence height of 103 cm. This versatile netting can also be used for embankment fencing and meets National Highways specifications H46 and H47.
High-tensile steel fencing can be strained more tightly than mild steel, helping to maintain a taut fence with fewer intermediate posts. It is also stronger and less prone to stretching, making it a durable choice for long-term fencing. With fewer posts required and installation often quicker, high-tensile netting can offer a cost-effective alternative to traditional mild steel fencing.
