Multiple control modes for full flexibility
Light sensor mode: opens and closes the door automatically based on daylight, giving your flock natural routines.
Timer mode: set specific times for opening and closing, either on a 12‑ or 24‑hour schedule.
Mixed mode: uses the light sensor as the main reference but switches to the set time if it’s not dark enough for the sensor to activate.
Safety features to protect your flock
The built‑in animal detection function ensures your chickens stay safe: if the door senses an obstruction while closing, it automatically reverses and retries up to three times. This helps prevent injuries and gives you peace of mind.
Efficient and versatile power options
The door operates with two AA alkaline batteries (sold separately), which typically last around one year under normal use. You can also power it with a 5V DC adapter (sold separately). For even more independence, it’s compatible with a solar panel up to 10W.
Designed for ease of use
Installation is straightforward: all necessary screws and a detailed instruction manual are included. For smooth operation, ensure there is at least 30.5 cm of space above the top edge of the door and at least 2.5 cm clearance on each side and below.
