We called this heater set the 'Equestrian Stable Heater Set' because its ideal for stables, tack rooms, livery yards etc, but it works in other areas too... in fact, any area where controlled heating is required. The heaters are waterproof and will even tolerate a hosing while switched on. Suitable and safe for prolonged use and cost effective too with running costs of approx £0.45 per hour for the set.
To focus for a moment on the equestrian element, we're actually thinking of the well being of your horses as much as the riders and grooms. Keeping a horse or pony warm during and after clipping; warming up before exercising, drying off the horse after washing down, after exercise etc. plus drying tack, rugs, clothes, wet dogs etc. Injured, sick and foaling horses will also benefit and as the infrared heat given off is so like the natural warmth of the sun the level of comfort is much greater than provided by many alternative forms of heating. At night, there is an added benefit of the soft lighting given off being sufficient to keep an eye on a sick pony or foaling mare without using the disturbing conventional harsh lighting.

This heater set is made up of two high quality waterproof, Burda TERM IP65 Infrared Heaters and the Burda two-zone controller giving you complete individual control over each of the lamps. For most installations, we recommend that both heaters are mounted in one stall, although it is possible to use this stable heating set for two stalls if the stable is well insulated.
Whether or not you’re acquiring this outdoor heater kit for use in an equestrian setting, whether the infrared heaters are to be used indoors or outside, we’re certain that you will enjoy the benefits and wonder why you didn’t heat up sooner. Installation this equipment is relatively simple, but please note that as this set provides over 3kW of power you won’t be able to simply plug it in and should have a qualified electrician set up the heaters and switch for you. The expected operating life of the heating elements is 5000-7000 hours.
