Gallagher High-Performance Gate Handle. Small Component, Big Impact
An electric gate is used every day. Opening, closing, quickly riding a quad through, or operating it with gloves in the rain. It is in these moments that it becomes clear whether a gate handle is truly well-designed. The Gallagher High-Performance Gate Handle was developed for these practical situations and is available in two versions: for broadband and for rope and wire.
Designed for Tough Conditions
This gate handle is not a standard component. It has been specifically designed for durability, safety, and ease of use. The flat, reinforced design ensures that the handle always lies flush with the ground, significantly reducing the risk of damage when driven over. A detail that makes a real difference in everyday use.
The rubberised handle sits securely in your hand. Even when wet or wearing work gloves, you retain full control. The angled profile additionally protects the hand from accidental electric shocks when opening and closing the gate.
Compression Spring Instead of Tension Spring. A Crucial Difference
Unlike many conventional gate handles, Gallagher uses a strong compression spring instead of a tension spring. The advantage is clear. A compression spring does not stretch and does not lose its spring force over time. This keeps the gate under better tension for longer, increasing operational reliability and making the gate safer and more dependable for your animals.
An integrated overextension protection limits the tension and prevents damage to the handle. This significantly extends the lifespan, even under heavy use.
Safe, Visible, and Fully Insulated
The gate handle is fully insulated and made from a high-quality combination of UV-resistant plastic, rubber, and stainless steel. The conductive steel core inside ensures continuous and reliable electrical flow to the opposite end of the gate.
The striking orange colour has been deliberately chosen. From a distance, you can immediately see whether the gate is closed or not. This increases safety during daily operation and prevents unnecessary errors.
