Predator Bird Scarer: Wireless PIR Detector

Weatherproof wireless PIR detector for use outdoors with the Predator range of Audible Bird Scarers.

1. The motion detector/s are setup to monitor a particular area such as an area of rooftop, the bank of a pond etc.

3. Triggers the bird scarer to emit the sound ensuring the bird or birds are scared away from the problem area immediately.

The Passive Infra-Red detector is supplied pre-configured to monitor your area using one of three detection beam patterns as follows:

• Corridor: a long thin beam of up to 30m running parallel to the ground.
• Horizontal curtain: a 90 degree fan of beams parallel to the ground covering up to 12m, similar to the corridor style but featuring multiple beams.
• Wide angle: a 90 degree fan of beams pointing down to the ground, reaching up to 12m.

The PIR will transmitt it's signal 500m over clear open space and this range could be extended if necessary by using an additional antenna; please note however that local conditions and topography will affect radio performance.

Requires 2 x AA batteries
Battery life approximately 1 year, according to use.
