Token Operated Time Switch

This tamper proof token operated time switch is particularly useful for public areas such as bars, smoking areas, campsite washrooms etc, especially those within areas where a coin operated time switch might be vulnerable and / or difficult to monitor.

Designed to switch on anything up to 30A, the coin operated time switch will certainly be capable of controlling most typical heater systems and being a metered switch, may also help make a useful contribution toward the cost of installing and running your heating system.

As per the coin operated version, the token meter switches the appliance on for a preset 'switched on' time set by the owner and the heater, or other electrical appliance will then run for that period before switching off automatically; for example set the value of a token to 50 pence or £1; then insert a token for a preset 10, 15 or perhaps 30 minutes of heating before the heater switches off, until another token is inserted.
