Although generally less efficient than crystaline panels, they are better in low light and therefore particularly well suited to the task of trickle charging and maintaining batteries, as they will provide some charge under almost any lighting conditions.
The solar panels are all tested under actual working conditions and will work effectively in low lighting. The SE-135 panel is not weatherproof, but the others will work in conditions such as in the rain, under a cloudy sky and even when covered in snow (up to 7.5cm).
