The Solartec KS20 from Kyocera is ideal for basic solar energy systems at home, on caravans and RV's or at work. The Kyocera Solartec KS20 20 watt solar panel is an 'entry level' panel with all the benefits of the Kyocera brand, although it incorporates Kyocera's advanced cell processing technology and automated production facilities, producing a highly efficient multicrystal photovoltaic module.
To provide maximum protection from the elements, the solar cells are sealed between a tempered glass cover and an EVA pottant with a PVF back sheet. To make the unit strong, durable and easy to install, the laminate is fitted into an anodized aluminium frame.
The Solartec 20W solar panel may also be used for 'trickle charging' a 12V battery to maintain and extend its operating life.
You may ONLY use this solar panel without a charge controller with 12V batteries over 120Ah capacity. For batteries less than 120Ah, you will need to use a basic charge controller such as the Steca Solsum 6.6F
