16 Watt Solar Panel Kyocera KC16-T

Kyocera’s KC16-T is a durable 16 watt solar panel, designed for stand-alone use or as part of a multi-panel array.

In order to protect the solar panel cells from extreme weather conditions, the solar cells are fitted between a reinforced, hail-resistant, glass covering and EVA foil. This is then sealed with a PET backing and set in a sturdy aluminium frame.

The Kyocera KC16-T solar panel uses 150x155mm polycrystalline solar cells with a high 16% efficiency rating. To ensure maximum product quality and reliability, Kyocera manufacture all the components of the solar panel and can offer a 2-year product warranty, along with a 5-10 year (100% - 90%) performance guarantee.

This panel can be used to trickle charge batteries without a charge controller, but only with batteries over 90Ah capacity. For best performance, we recommend the use of a charge controller such as the Steca Solsum 6.6F.
