The KC21-T is a reliable 21 watt solar panel from Kyocera, designed for off-grid use, singly or part of a multi-panel system.
To maximise output, The Kyocera KC21-T solar panel uses 150x155mm polycrystalline solar cells with a high 16% efficiency rating. Kyocera manufacture all the components of the solar panel in-house to ensure the highest quality. As a result, this solar panel is supplied with a 2-year product warranty, along with a 5-10 year (100% - 90%) performance guarantee.
The solar cells are fitted between a reinforced, hail-resistant, glass covering and EVA foil backing to provide maximum protection from extreme weather conditions. This is then sealed with a PET backing and set in a sturdy aluminium frame.
Whilst this solar panel can be used to trickle charge batteries without a charge controller (with batteries over 120Ah capacity), we highly recommend the use of a charge controller such as the Steca Solsum 6.6F.

Installation Basics:
Kyocera solar panels are not supplied as standard with any mounting brackets, but they are fitted with either flying MC leads with industry standard male and female connections or 'screw-in' terminals on the junction box for easy cable attachment.
