The 135W Kyocera KD135 is a top of the range 135 watt multicrystal photovoltaic module from one the the world's best known manufacturers. The KD135 comes from years of research and continuous development at Kyocera's R and D factilities and is manufactured using a uinique automated production processes. Kyocera's high-performance solar cells mean that the 135 Watt Kyocera is over 16% efficient (higher than cheaper alternatives), which guarantees an impressive year-round solar power supply.

This 135W Kyocera solar panel designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions, service free for up to 25-years. To do this, a toughened glass front panel with a special EVA foil covering protects the solar cells, which are then sealed with a PET foil backing. To guarantee structural integrity, the solar cell laminate is mounted into a tough aluminium frame. Amazingly, the enture solar panel modules can withstand a surface load of 5,400N/m² (as per IEC 61215 ed. 2). To eliminate the risk the solar cells overheating (hot spot effect), the junction box is fitted with a bypass diode array. The KD135SX-1PU is delivered with easy to use screw-in wire terminals.

Installation Basics:
Kyocera solar panels are not supplied as standard with any mounting brackets, but they are fitted with either flying MC leads with industry standard male and female connections or 'screw-in' terminals on the junction box for easy cable attachment.
