A level up from the entry level range, these solar panels will produce more power for your application. All the solar panels are chosen for their
reliability, efficiency and manufacturing quality. The solar panels are highly efficient and stylish, usually manufactured using crystalline silicon cells, which
are framed in an aerodynamic, heat-dissipating aluminium frame; many are so tough you can even walk on them. For most off grid applications requiring just one, or
perhaps a small number of solar panels, installation is quick, simple and should be well within the capabilities of a competent DIY enthusiast or handyman.
- Kyocera: These are the highest quality polycrystalline solar panels on the market, combining well-proven technology with world-leading manufacturing quality and panel-to-panel repeatability. Whilst not as efficient as their monocrystalline counterparts, Kyocera solar panels are world-renowned as being the most robust and reliable panels on the market today.
- ET: These are 'budget' monocrystalline solar panels which produce about 14% efficiency (compared with 16.5% for Kyocera and 21.5% for Sunpower). They are ideal for applications where cost is more important than physical size or absolute technical performance.
Deciding which type of solar panel to choose is a slightly confusing prospect, since many people have a great deal of opposing and often subjective opinions. We recommend choosing the solar panel that you feel most comfortable with, based on your requirements. All solar panels produce energy from the sun; some work slightly more efficiently, some are more cost-effective and others are more robust.
NOTE: Unless otherwise stated, our off-grid panels are not MCS approved and therefore cannot be used on solar energy systems connected to the National Grid.
To make installation easier and more efficient, we also supply a range of Mounting Racks & Brackets.
