If you are looking for a good all round, low cost charge controller; the Sunsei branded 10 Amp Charge Controller from ICP should fit the bill.

This 10A solar charge controller prevents solar panels of approximately 200 watts or less from overcharging your battery and makes the charge controller ideal for use with small and medium size individual solar panels, or series of solar panels, so long as the combined power production does not exceed 10A.
