The Fronius IG TL range is the latest of the Fronius family of grid-tie inverters, incorporating all of the reliability and efficiency advantages of transformerless design. Combining advanced electronics with the highly reliable Fronius system management software, the IG TL inverters offer power efficiency of up to 97.7%, with a night-time power consumption of less than 1-watt. Unique to the Fronius TL inverters is the new USB-stick connectivity, which allows you to quickly access system data and apply software updates using a standard USB memory stick.
Key Features:
The housing of the Fronius TL inverters is hermetically sealed and only the cooling fins of the electronics remain on the outside. The system is air-cooled, circulating air through the cooling fins, ensuring that there is no exchange between inside and outside the housing. As a result, the Fronius TL inverters are IP55 rated and the inverter remains cool but without the risk of internal contamination and overheating.
System Status Manager
The Fronius TL inverters are fitted with advanced System Status Manager monitoring as standard. In addition to ensuring that the maximum power is extracted from the solar PV panel array (using MPP calculations), the Status Manager constantly compares the currents of each individual string /solar panel. If any problems are detected, the detailed status messages quickly highlight the exact issue and even the specific panel. This significantly reduces error diagnosis and repair and gives early detection of problems such as animal damage to cables or module damage. If required, an external alarm signal can be fitted using the 12V alarm output.
USB Data Communications
In additrion to the standard RS485 (via 2 x RJ45 sockets) that you would expect from a Fronius inverter, the TL range also includes a unique USB system. Using a standard USB memory stick, you can quickly transfer system datalogs to a PC or even apply software updates the inverter.
