All leisure batteries provide a certain number of deep discharge cycles. The typical leisure battery should give a cycling life of between 200 - 300 deep discharges. A Gel battery will give between 400 - 500 cycles and an AGM battery 600 - 800 cycles. An ELECSOL battery should give over 1000 deep discharge cycles.

The increased cycling life of Elecsol batteries is achieved through the use of carbon fibre in the construction. The incorporation of carbon fibre eliminates the lead sulphation of the batteries plates (the major cause of battery failure) and ensures that the Elecsol battery can be more deeply discharged without causing any damage. A major benefit of this is that Elecsol batteries can be left in a discharged state for long periods without losing their recharging capacity.

Elecsol batteries are sometimes made to order and delivery is typically 1-week from date or order (up to 2-weeks in busy periods). This Elecsol 220Ah deep cycle AGM battery weighs 49kg so, unfortunately, free delivery is not possible - delivery is £35+VAT for the 1st battery, plus £5+VAT for each additional battery (to most UK mainland destinations).
