Many thanks to Chris C of the RSPB for sending us these
photographs of our 40w Kyocera solar panel
in situ.
Situated on an offshore bird sanctuary, the solar panel provides power for a
remote video camera plus radio transmitter, allowing the RSPB to monitor this
important nesting site without disturbing the residents.
Well done too, to the RSPB members who constructed such a wonderful casing with which to anchor the panel in place... Apparently there's seven feet of pole out of sight under the shingle to keep it all securely on 'dry land'.
