Hotline 15-strand deer net, 200cm high, produced with ORANGE or GREEN moulded strands, widely spaced for enhanced visibility. The bottom strand is always black and is not live to prevent shorting with vegetation.
Deer netting is manufactured to order and the minimum length is 25m; This can then be extended in 1m increments to whatever length you require. When placing an order please allow for an approximate manufacture - delivey time of 2 weeks.
Unlike the other electric netting products in our range, deer netting is not supplied with fitted posts. This is due to the increased height and weight of the netting which requires a stronger support. Also, this netting product is often used without electricity to provide a simple barrier for non-agricultural applications such as around a play area to keep balls contained etc.
If using deer netting as originally intended we would recommend securing the netting to wooden fence posts spaced 10m - 15m apart and using 2 or 3 x Stand Off Insulators per post to support the net. Make sure the net is as taut as possible and remember that each 25m length of net is equivalent to 375m of single line when making your choice of energiser and earthing requirements.
