The Double 3:1 Geared Reel is a good quality, robust electric fence reel with two geared drums; ideal if you want to quickly and easily set up a twin line electric fence from a fixed point, or perhaps need additional lines for your 3 reel fence system.
The Double Reel is equipped with an accelerator mechanism for fast spooling with the drum rotating three times with every turn of the crank handle. The fence reel also has a carry handle, a locking ratchet and long crank handle for better leverage.
The Double 3:1 Geared Reel has a maximum storage capacity of approx:
- 1000 metres of Polywire (500m on each drum)
- 800 metres of Galvanised Wire (400m on each drum)
- 300 metres of Electric Rope (150m on each drum)
- 200 metres of Supercharge Tape (100m on each drum)
NOT SUITABLE FOR 40MM TAPE.
The Double Geared Reel will fit on to the PR2 Reel Fixing Fence Post. This is done either by removing the main carrying handle and then using the same fixing point to bolt the reel to the fence post, or to simplify the fitting make use of the BR1 Quick Bracket.
