SnailAway slug and snail deterrent barrier provides reliable protection from slugs and snails without any of the usual drawbacks… snailaway is completely safe for children, pets and wildlife, works in all weathers, requires very little maintenance and also looks good.
SnailAway is essentially a low voltage electric fence that takes the form of parallel silver metal bands incorporated within transparent self adhesive tape. The snailaway tape is secured around your plant pot, in-ground fence, raised bed, greenhouse, seed tray or planting table etc and then connected to a standard household 9v battery using the patented battery box to energise the tape and create a totally slug and snail proof barrier. There is no additional wiring required.
Any snail or slug attempting to cross snailaway repellent tape receives an unpleasant electric shock and soon goes away to eat unprotected plants and weeds. No unhygienic mess to clear up and the food chain is preserved for natural predators such as frogs, toads, hedgehogs and birds. 
As the snails are unharmed, SnailAway also lends itself to use in Heliciculture (Snail Farming) to create a bespoke fence.
