This high quality, 50m battery powered electric fence netting kit utilises the taller than standard 'Super Rabbit Net' to help provide you with effective protection against rabbits and badgers.
Because the rabbit net is so easy to erect and dismantle the Super Rabbit netting kit proves particularly useful for areas where a temporary or easily moved barrier is desirable. This means that an electrified rabbit net if ideal for protecting your vegetable plot, flower beds, lawn, bowling or golf green from Badgers and Rabbits. But simply by adding a wooden fence post/s and insulators to anchor the net and provide additional support, the netting can easily become a more permanent electric fence.
If utilised solely for guarding against rabbits, it is best to setup the rabbit netting at a 40º - 45º angle facing toward the rabbits, but if badgers are also an issue have the netting set up more upright as in our photo.
Hotline SUPER rabbit net, is 70cm high and supplied in either GREEN or ORANGE , moulded strands with the plastic fence posts already attached (orange nets have yellow posts and green nets have black). The bottom netting strand is always black and is not live to prevent shorting with vegetation and allows you to peg it in place.
The electric netting can be setup as an effective fence against rabbits and badgers. When deterring rabbits is the main concern, the rabbit fence is most effective when (unlike our photo) the super rabbit net is erected at a 45-degree angle facing the hedgerow. This will most likely cause the ears of the rabbit to touch the net before it can get close enough to burrow underneath.

Rabbit netting is supplied in 50m lengths, which can be joined together to extend your fence. If you are likely to extend your rabbit fence in the future, please note that the Hobby energiser supplied with this kit is suitable for a maximum of three (3) nets.
