Electric Fence Insulators

For your electric fence to be effective, the fence wires must be isolated from the fence posts (and anything else) i.e. there should be no contact whatsoever with the fence post unless you can be sure the post isn’t conductive, such as with when using plastic fence posts.

The type of electric fence insulator you choose will be based around the type of post you need to fix the fence line to, how you wish to fix the insulator to the post and also the fence material being used.
