...The Tansun Rio is however, a good, high performance 2kW heater, more compact, lighter and less obtrusive than the weatherproof 2kW Algarve. Tansun Rio is ideal if you're looking for a high quality, reliable heater and you don't need it to be waterproof.
The infrared heater will heat an area of up to 12sq metres and so long as those 12sq metres are under cover, they can still be outside; perfect for both domestic and commercial use under canopies, umbrellas awnings etc. Or for use indoors in outbuildings, stables, animal shelters, workshops, conservatories, greenhouses, gazebos, summerhouses, halls, churches etc.
The 2kW quartz lamp provides safe, silent, warming, infrared energy that heats any surface it touches, rather than the air in-between. This means that you feel the heat no matter what the weather is doing and you feel it instantly, as soon as you turn on the heater.
There is an adjustable wall bracket supplied, and optional brackets are available to support mounting under awnings etc. Additional features include a highly efficient high grade aluminium reflector and a long life lamp that should provide around 5,000 hours of technically superior operation.
