Chicken, Duck & Goose Houses

Recycled Plastic has been used to create these excellent, environmentally friendly and cost effective alternatives to traditional wooden chicken, duck and goose houses.

The designers at Green Frog have 18 years experience keeping chickens and these chicken houses are the culmination of several years work developing an ideal small chicken house. The designs have been tested on their own chickens and they seem to like it!

Recycled plastic is a good insulator and even in the summer heat, the interior stays cool. The houses require no maintenance, the smooth interior walls are easy to clean and help prevent disease. Compared with a wooden coop, the solid plastic walls mean there are far fewer crevices for red mites and no inaccessible hiding places. At the end of the season, or batch of chickens, the house can be taken apart and given a power wash down. This is a particularly useful feature if you are raising batches of meat birds, as the house can be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly before introducing a new batch of young birds.
