Because the rabbit net is so easy to erect and dismantle the Super Rabbit netting kit proves particularly useful for areas where a temporary or easily moved barrier is
preferable to a permanent rabbit/badger fence. This means that an electrified rabbit net is ideal for protecting your vegetable plot, flower beds,
lawn, bowling or golf green from Badgers and Rabbits while they're unattended. For a little more permanence, simply incorporate a number of wooden fence posts and
insulators to anchor the net and provide additional support; the netting is then quickly transformed into a more permanent electric fence.
If utilised solely for guarding against rabbits, it is best to setup the rabbit netting at a 40º - 45º angle facing toward the rabbits, but if badgers are also an
issue set the netting up more upright, as in the photo to the right. The reason for erecting the netting at a 45 degree angle when deterring rabbits is to try and
ensure that the sensitive ears of the rabbit touch the net before the rabbit
is close enough to burrow under. Just make sure that the net is erected at a 45º angle facing the hedgerow, or whatever direction the rabbits come from.
