One of the most environmentally friendly, energy efficient methods for controlling your heaters is to incorporate PIR (Passive Infrared) motion detectors to switch the heaters on when there's someone around to benefit. This PIR is suitable for controlling a heater or heaters up to a maximum power of 3kW.
The PIR turns your heater/s on and a time switch turns the heater off. Pre-determine the time you want the heater to stay on and you can be sure that the heater is turned off afterwards and isn't wasting power when no longer required.
This 3kW PIR switch is suitable for mounting in a sheltered area such as under an awning, canopy or for indoors.
