All Forsham products are produced to exacting standards and each product has been designed to be PRACTICAL and is made from the highest quality MATERIALS.
- Timber: Forsham products are manufactured using “Joinery Grade Scandinavian Red Pine” that is a hard, dense wood with a tight grain that offers strength and durability in all seasons.
- Fixings: All metal features and fixings (including wire mesh) are manufactured from zinc galvanised parts to ensure a long life in an outdoor environment.
- Treatment: All dovecotes, duckcotes, posts and floats are pressure treated and to further protect your Forsham product, all sub-sections are immersed in our own wood preserver, “Forsham Retreat”. Immersion treatment guarantees that all parts of the product are treated and is the best way to protect the wood from the environment. To maintain your Forsham product, we recommend that you use our “Forsham Retreat” preserver twice a year, especially prior to Winter. Treating your Forsham product also helps to kill mites and other insects.
- Paints: Some Forsham dovecotes and nest boxes available in a painted finish. We only use microporous Sadolin paints and apply 3 coats to produce a clean finish that will not flake and typically lasts 5-years with little attention. Microporous paints allow the wood to breath whilst protecting it from the elements.
- Delivery: All Forsham Products (with the exception of the pre-assembled dovecotes and duck-cotes) are delivered flat-packed and shrink wrapped. Our flat-pack approach has been designed for quick and simple erection with no need for any specialist equipment or knowledge. Forsham products are built to order and therefore delivery may be up to 28-days depending on the volume of recent orders; please Email us here for current lead times if required.
- Payment: Since Forsham products are built to order, these are some of the few products in the electricfence-online range that we take full payment at the time of order.
- Guarantees: If, within 14-days of delivery, you are not entirely satisfied with the quality of materials or the standard of workmanship, we will arrange for a replacement or refund. Proof of Purchase will be required and we cannot be held responsible for damage or deterioration of any product through lack of care and attention or misuse. Since wood is a natural product, it will respond to atmospheric conditions. Therefore, all wooden Forsham products must be treated twice a year to keep the boards supple and to repel water.
