25m Battery Electric Poultry Pen Kit

Here's a quick and easy to set up 25m Electric Poultry Pen Netting Kit that includes everything you need to to create a safe and secure pen for your poultry that is designed as much to keep the foxes out as to keep your chickens in.

Electric fencing is usually effective against Foxes because they don't tend to take a running jump at a fence. Instead, a fox will more often 'stalk' the fence, perhaps testing it from a few points for weakness. The fox might try to climb a fence or even jump to the top in order to have a look over the other side... All behaviour patterns that help to make electric fencing and electrified netting in particular, very effective.

Although not part of the kit, you might also consider the addition of our Fence Line Indicator Lamp to both increase the level of deterrent and provide you with a visual indication that the fence is working correctly.

Each Poultry Netting Kit includes the following items:

• 1 x Hotline HLB100 Shrike Energiser
• 1 x ES2 Earth Spike
• 1 x 25m SH2L Poultry Net with additional heavy duty corner posts.
• 1 x MHGATE Poultry Pen Gateway(Now incorporated into the net).
• 1 x N40 Electrified Netting Warning Sign
• 1 x P70 Fence Tester - 5 'O' Lite

Please Note: Although the poultry net supplied is only 25m in length, it contains over 275m of conductive polywire. If keeping these electrified strands free of encroaching vegetation is likely to prove difficult, or you are likely to extend the fence in the future, we would recommend upgrading the energiser.
