All too often, we see a 150m portable/temporary fence that has been constructed using a 200m roll of material and the excess 50m is just lying on the ground at the end of the fence. At best the material is getting dirty, more often however it is also being damaged, eventually to the point of needing to be replaced prematurely. The incorporation of a reel can make all the difference.
The simple act of initially spooling the
tape,
wire,
or
rope,
onto a reel will extend its life. If you have 200m of
tape
and only need to use 100m, just leave the excess spooled on the reel; attach the reel to a PR2 Reel Fixing Fence Post and you then have a good anchor for your electric fence plus the satisfaction of knowing the material is well protected and will last as long as possible.
